Cheryl A. Rogers, age 65, of Pocatello, ID died December 4, 2024, in the ICU of Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington, surrounded by loved ones. Born June 9, 1959, Cheryl was one of seven children of Fred J. McFarland and Dorothy "Marilyn" McFarland. Cheryl moved often, residing at various times throughout her life in Idaho, Utah, Arizona, and Oregon. She worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for a time, and the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was very social and loved helping others. She was a born again Christian, who loved God and enjoyed church. A New York Giants and football fan, she loved getting to watch her grandson play football the last few years. Her grandchildren, and surrounding family, gave her so much joy in the last few years of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Michael McFarland, her sister Michelle McFarland, and sister-in-law Loretta McFarland. She is survived by her children, Abby Nez, Oregon; Tatiana "Sky" Nez-Thompson, Idaho; and Sanora Gee, Oregon; 3 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and extended family she embraced as her own.
