Dan W. Bauman, born on September 18, 1954, in Newport, Oregon, passed away peacefully at home in Kennewick, WA, on June 15, 2024, at the age of 69. Dan was a truly unique individual, known for his incredible memory and his ability to think outside the box. His creative mind and mechanical skills made him a certified mechanic for over 30 years, a career that allowed him to excel in problem-solving and hands-on work.

In addition to his mechanical talents, Dan had a passion for woodworking and took great pride in caring for his lawn and plants, always ensuring his surroundings were as beautiful and well-maintained as his character. He loved the mountains, camping, and fishing. His attention to detail and innovative way of looking at the world set him apart, and those who knew him appreciated his distinctive perspective.

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Laurie Bauman; his children, Claire Peoples, Matthew Bauman, and Heather Shepherd, his grandchildren Quinn and Phoebee and preceded in death by his granddaughter Jasmine Lutz. His memory will forever be cherished by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dan's life will be remembered for his dedication to his work, his love of nature, and his remarkable way of seeing the world. He will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.
