Another day. at home with the wife!
As I sit here looking out my living room window I see and hear the
sounds & sights of life as it screams out its message for
all to hear
-join me, embrace me and find the freedom that U have
never known. U
C my front yard is the Pacific Ocean with its waves
breaking no more
than a stones throw away.
Finally I Am home and the sea it comforts me. It is my
answer to
lifes greatest questions/mysteries.
After reading the likes of confuscious
and Aristotle and all the others.
Trust me, none of them have been able to answer those same questions.
Those questiond/truths are something you feel, you can't
put words to
them,
they lie deep within you; untouched by
calendars and death, truly lifes big
picture.
Inside this beach condo with my old surfboard hanging
on the wall I
look around me and see all the possessions that my wife
and I have
picked up along the way. Some 70+ years for me an a
handfill less
for her.
I think of the value each one have to
me and at onxe I'm reminded of how
little they. each mean alone - but
together they create a glimpse of our lives and what we
care about,
but the
real truth of us lies deep within the wrinkles of our laughter.
Just now weve returned from a mile walk in our yard
and feel the
contented tiredness a walk on a deserted beach can
bring. For me
this is all I ever wanted - to be
at home by the sea - Kandee and
the dogs and me
