Marsden Gene Hunter son of Orval and Blanche Bernice (Smith) Hunter. He died at home in Pasco on October 18, 2021. Mars was born in Jennings KS on April 29, 1931. He saw a tremendous amount of change in Yakima WA from the age of 3 on. He was a product of the Yakima Schools and was very proud to say he went to Yakima High School. Growing up in a small town encouraged a strong moral compass, which he had. After High School he joined the U. S. Army Air Force. He eventually moved back to Yakima. He retired from Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital in 1990. Mars is survived by his loving and devoted wife Tricia (Louzader), 8 children, 18 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. He also leaves behind his brother Theron (Jean) Hunter, 3 Nieces and 2 grand nieces. He will be missed by many. A Celebration of Life will be held on his 91st birthday April 29, 2022.
