Obituary

Traci Jo Polhemus, age 67, passed away on October 10th following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Anaconda-Deer Lodge, Montana, Traci spent most of her life in the Tri-Cities, where she built a life filled with love, friendship, hard work, and countless memories. Throughout her career, she worked as a cook, a bartender, and in management. She took pride in her work and was known for her generous heart, her willingness to help others, and her ability to be there when someone needed her. But of all the roles she held throughout her life, the most important and cherished was being a loving mother to her three children. Her family was at the heart of everything she did, and the love she gave reached far beyond her own home. She was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, best friend, and neighbor.

Traci had a heart that was kind and true. She was the person people could count on, the one who showed up when she was needed, and the one who gave so much of herself to others without asking for anything in return. Her warmth, compassion, and generous spirit touched the lives of so many. Whether through a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply being there, she made people feel loved and cared for.

Her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. While we struggle to find the words to express the depth of our loss, we are forever grateful for the years we shared with her, the memories we will always treasure, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.

Though Traci is no longer with us, the beautiful soul she was and the love she left behind will never fade. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Traci's memory by giving back to the community and making a donation to a charity of your choice. In keeping with Traci's kind and generous heart, we hope her legacy of caring for others will continue through acts of kindness and generosity toward those in need.
