For most families, things don’t stop at the cremation or burial. That’s why CODA believes in giving you more—allowing you to be near your loved one and help you in the grieving process. Our services are designed to give families a few extra moments to remember. Bask in the memories, and let yourself feel the chorus that was your loved one’s life.

Witness Cremation

Starting at $125

Witness cremation offers the family the chance to be present with their loved one as the cremation commences. It’s a very personal service that can be comforting and provide closure. You can accompany your loved one into the building and crematory room up until they enter the cremation chamber. 

*Disclaimer: We utilize the crematorium at Einan’s at Sunset, we must follow established guidelines. You will only be allowed to stay until the cremation begins. Also, be aware that Einan’s has a crematorium schedule, and CODA will select an available time. In the event that Einan’s has to reschedule, CODA will notify the family.

Open House Gathering Package

Starting at $300

Feel free to hold a small private service, open house, or group event. Bring in anything you’d like to make it your own (we’ll supply some décor), and take plenty of pictures to remember the occasion. You’ll have access to the room for four hours. If you wish to stay after that time, you’ll be charged per hour.

Private Viewing Package

Starting at $660

Private family viewing, without embalming, is available for families (no greater than 10 people) needing to say a final goodbye. To help create a positive memory for your family, funeral directors will set features (positioning the mouth and closing the eyes), perform special sanitary precautions, dress the body in a hospital gown, and cover the body with a blanket from the shoulders down. In addition, this cost includes use of our facility and staff (1 hour) for private viewing, modified preparation of the deceased, and utility vehicle to get to CODA and back to our holding facility.

Graveside Service

Starting at $350

A memorial is a permanent remembrance of a life lived; a place for mourners (not just family) may visit for emotional support.

We’ll coordinate a Graveside Service with the cemetery of your choosing. 

If there were prearrangements in place for your loved one, you will need to touch base with the cemetery to ensure everything is settled.

Fingerprints and/or Lock of Hair

Starting at $100

Many of the families we serve today eventually choose to have their loved one's fingerprint transferred to a piece of jewelry, thereby keeping their memory only a touch away. Some families also choose to keep a lock of hair. For an additional cost we will take electronic fingerprints of your loved one, which can be used to order jewelry featuring your loved one's fingerprint, becoming a precious keepsake.

It’s natural to want to remember and cherish the last moments with your loved ones. When you record them, those moments become memories that you can live over and over again.  CODA uses “One Room” for recording that allows your service to be viewed by loved ones who can’t attend that day, and the recording is saved for you to cherish forever.

Ashes or Stones? 

Solidified remains are a clean alternative to ashes that allow you to feel close and connected to your loved one in daily life. Share your solidified remains with your family and let everyone heal in a way that is special to them. Don’t let your loved one’s remains sit forgotten in a closet or garage. The average person is 40 – 60 stones.

 This package includes shipping and packaging to and from Parting Stones.

Tribute DVD

Starting at $135

A DVD video is a wonderful way to share your loved one’s life with others. It can be personalized with your special photos and music. These videos become keepsakes that you can share with your family for generations.



We will take the photos you have selected from your collection, and we will create a slide-show. We can play this during your gathering. Pick out a few songs that remind you of your loved one or their favorite songs. Then you can have this for years to come. Additional DVD copies available.

Cemetery Witness Placement Fee

Starting at $125

This service allows immediate family members (up to 10 people) to be present during the placement of their loved one, in a cemetery of their choice. We can schedule this service to families Monday-Friday, at 9:00 am and have a 15-minute max time frame. This is a basic service giving family the opportunity to witness the placing of their loved ones cremated remains, either in the ground or in a niche. This also allows for burial families to witness the lowering of the casket into the ground. 

Rosary / Prayer Service

Starting at $835

This service allows time and space for family and friends to gather for a Rosary or Prayer Service. This option includes use of the hospitality room and staff for 2 hours/closed casket. This also includes the utility vehicle to get your loved one to CODA and back to our holding facility, modified preparations of the deceased as well as our Acoustic Stationery Package which includes 1 register book, 50 prayer cards, 50 thank you cards, and 4 bookmarks.

During this delicate time, we offer a space where you can explore and select from a thoughtfully curated collection of urns. Our selection encompasses a variety of styles, materials, and sizes to ensure you find the perfect resting place that resonates with the essence of your loved one. Each urn is crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail, reflecting the unique and enduring bond you shared. May you find comfort in knowing that your loved one's cremated remains will be cradled in a vessel that pays homage to a life well-lived and deeply treasured.
